Do I need antibiotic prophylaxis prior to heart valve procedures?

GPs do not advise on these situations, and the dentist can assess or seek clarification from the cardiologist directly (see useful link to send to dentists here)

What shall I do with my 'bloodthinners' prior to dental procedures?

GPs do not advise on these situations, and the dentist can assess or seek clarification from the relevant specialist as necessary.  

 

I get nervous, can you give me medicines to help?
If you need anti-anxiety medication you dentist should be able to provide medication or refer up to a specialist team who can.
